The Concept of Collaborativism in the Text and Collaborative Performance of the Play “Bedol Desa” by the Celah-Celah Langit (CCL) Community by Muhamad Mazeinda Al Biruni and Iman Soleh

Collaborativism, as a concept that unites the foundational thinking of the CCL Community, is represented in the theatrical performance Bedol Desa. The main issue explored is how collaborativism is structured through four elements: ideology, individual hegemony in the collective, identity bias, and space. These elements form the key findings that question collaborativism as a construct of collaborative thought in the CCL Community’s creation and performance production. The goal of this research is to map the concept of collaborativism within these four elements and provide a descriptive analysis of the findings, linking them theoretically to the research object. The study uses a descriptive-analytic method to explain the findings and analyze the research object to uncover connections between objects and theories, thus leading to new intellectual insights. Data were collected from previous research, photo and video documentation, library sources, and the author’s direct field involvement. This research finds that the four elements serve as the foundation of collaborative works and participants’ thinking patterns in the CCL Community. Openness to other individuals is a significant influence, ensuring that identity differences are not an issue within the collective community. The results aim to demonstrate that communities based on collaborativism can serve as an example and foundation for developing socialistic thought, particularly regarding acceptance and openness to others with diverse individual identities.
